Not many can forget the “club kids” Marc Jacobs sent out on the runway in September of last year. To say the colorful hand-dyed woolen dreadlocks worn in the show piqued a fair few would be an understatement, but equal were those in admiration of the hair styling by Guido.
Alanna opens this 1980s inspired story sporting hair, dreads and all, by Neil Moodie, and wearing a pullover in poppy-red viscose blend with geometric openwork and contrasting blue stripes by Fendi. There is an undoubted vibrancy to this and the other pictures in the story, which makes it small wonder Marc Jacobs and countless designers have derived such energy from these retro stylings.
